MANCHESTER UNITED v Swansea: Evans and Welbeck miss out through injury

Jonny Evans and Danny Welbeck have both been ruled out of Manchester United’s final home game against Swansea on Sunday.
Evans missed Monday’s Manchester derby defeat at the Etihad Stadium after picking up a knock the previous week against Everton, while Welbeck suffered an ankle injury in a tackle with Nigel de Jong.

Anders Lindegaard (ankle) is available for the first time since January as United look to retain their severely-damaged title hopes.
Provisional squad: De Gea, Lindegaard, Amos, Rafael, Jones, Smalling, Ferdinand, Fabio, Evra, Valencia, Nani, Park, Scholes, Cleverley, Carrick, Giggs, Young, Rooney, Hernandez, Berbatov, Owen.

Chelsea fan stabbed to death after taunting Manchester United fan over City defeat

A Chelsea fan was stabbed to death after reportedly taunting a Manchester United fan over their 1-0 defeat to Manchester City.

Stephen Oluoch was knifed in the back of the head moments before the final whistle after an argument with the fan during Monday night’s Manchester derby.

The 24-year-old had been watching the top-of-the-table clash on TV in a shopping centre in Nairobi, Kenya.

He was with his cousin and a group of about 20 other fans who had met up to watch the match.

Last year, a young girl committed suicide in Rongai after Manchester United lost a champions league match and in the same year an Arsenal fan committed suicide in Nairobi’s Pipeline estate after the team lost a premier league match.

The Manchester derby title showdown set a new record for Sky Sports, with audience peaking at 4.2m viewers after the satellite broadcaster asked for the match at the Etihad stadium to be switched to the Monday night.

It beat the previous audience record back in September 2003, when Sky showed England’s Euro 2004 qualifier against Turkey.
